Reading responses – No water No Food

Talofa Lava Everyone

This week for reading we had to do a new reading response and it was about “No water No food”. It is a story about the Western China where they have had drought for 100 years. For this our teacher has assigned us with work which we call reading response is what we call it. Firstly we had to read the book to know what was happening  and what we needed to work on for the response. Secondly after reading the story you should know what happened in the story before making the response. The response is a task for what you read and explain what happens and the last slide comes in and it is the question (REV UP) and it’s the questions for the story I’ve read and answering it in the reading response for our task. This activity was fun to do I really enjoyed it because of how fun and we also get to learn what happens around the world. If you would like to see my work it will be down here for you to see.

Thank you for reading my blog and I hope you have a good rest of your day. Remember to spread the gospel.

Math DLO Week 5 .24

Talofa Lava Everyone,

This week for our maths we had to do compatible pairs and for this we had to plus numbers but they had four numbers to add. Firstly to find this we had to go onto the maths page to get it then we would have to pick one or the other. I picked compatible pairs which I am here to tell you about. We had to do the first question and it was not hard but it was okay and easy. But some people could have different opinions but from my understanding it is easy. Here are some examples of what we had to do and this is the first day I am doing the second day which is done here are the examples. 280+360+140+ 20= 800 here is how I solved this I solved it like this  280+20 = 300 then I 360+140= 500 and then I added 500+ 300= 800 and then that was how I got my answer. I liked this activity it helped me realise that I can add numbers that have heaps of numbers no matter what. That was all I did for maths and here is my DLO. If you want to see it, it will be down here and you can  see what some of it is in the same words. That was all I did for maths.

Thank you for reading my blog I hope you have a good rest of your day and my apologies for how my DLO looks. But remember spread the gospel.

Tinkercad Dwelling .24

Talofa Lava Everyone

Two weeks ago I started this activity called dwelling and we had to make a house over dwelling which means over river and we had to do a house over a dwelling but my one is on the dwelling not over but it looks very nice to me and I added some detail to make it prettier and you could admire it or look at it. My dwelling doesn’t look good but at least I tried my best and it looks nice. The colours are black and white and added some trees, coconut trees apparently, then a person and some toys as my details. Tinker cad is like a task you could do when your teacher tells you and my task was to make a dwelling in tinker cad. Tinker cad is like 3D printer when you make design in the tinker cad or like key chain you could design in tinker cad.

This is the screenshot I took of my dwelling.

This is my dwelling and those are the details I mentioned. Thank you for reading my blog and don’t forget to spread the gospel.

Long divison – Remainders .24

Assallahmualikum!

Yesterday we were doing our maths workshop about long division with remainders, it was easy to understand long division with remainders because remainders means adding with the number you can’t fit in like example. 28 ÷ 8 = 3 remainder 4 because 8 x 3 = 24 and 24 + 4 = 28, which means it 8 remainder 3 because 24 plus 4 is 28. If you get it here is three maths question you can answer in your maths book. but here is the example with three digits in Google drawing tool.

This is the example you could have a look at and understand this kind of example for you maths problems.

here are the maths question it simple and easy to answer.

1. 4) 432

2. 5)535

3. 4)824

These are the three maths question you could answer and this is the end of my blog post.

Thank you for reading my blog and I hope you have a good rest of your day and don’t forget to spread the gospel.

Response to Text Week 4 .24

Talofa Lava Everyone

This week in reading we did read a book that was based around animals that live in a lake. After when we read it we have to do the slides that were called response to text. In a response to text we have some work that makes the story into an activity and to do that we had to complete it to move onto something else. The story was called At the lake and it has a poem called diamante poem It’s called a diamante poem because the poem is shaped in a diamond and it is also a poem and it is a nice and short one. Something I learnt from this activity is that what to and fro mean it means going back and forth in the same place. If you would like to see my work then it will be down here and I have completed it.

Thank you for reading my blog I hope you have a good rest of your day and don’t forget to spread the gospel. 🙂

Report – Multimodel Week 3 T2 2024

Assalamualaikum Everyone,

This week we were doing a report on something based on things that have been really cruel examples like a tornado or a flood. We had to do this in pairs then we had given slides to work on. Then we had to do it for the whole week with our buddy and we made sure that everything was right. After that we had to write a report about the work we did for the past week and we had to do adjective nouns and adverbs that was the first instruction. Then we would write it in a doc then to do this we need to write a report but we already know how to write a report but we had to go over it. Then we wrote our General Statement and then we wrote the cause and recuse and then our summary and then  that was all we did. If you would like to see my work then it will be down here.

Thank you for reading my blog I hope you have a great day and remember to  spread the gospel. 🙂

Maths DLO T2 .24

Kamusta Everyone

This week for maths we were learning about long division, long division is easy but if you add remainders it will get a bit hard but I could do it. Firstly if we need to learn how to do this then we would have to learn how to do it and our teacher told us how to do the long division. The one she taught us was the long way one which you go like one then tens the thousands then ten thousands. But for me I like to carry because for me it is easier to carry then add and add and add but that is what I think but other people have different opinions. I really enjoyed doing this it helped me remind me how to do it and make it fresh in my mind so that was what we did for maths.

Thank you for reading my blog and I hope you have a good day and remember to spread the gospel. 🙂

Swimming T2 .24

Talofa Lava Everyone

This week we have been going to a pool and swimming there and we have  also been learning about water safety. Firstly we had to go to a pool and we went to Massey pools and I have been there heaps of times. We had to group up with room 10 for this activity because there was no other time that room 10 could go with so they tagged along with us but I’m not too sure if I am  right or not. I really like swimming because of the way that it has different moves and different ways to swim It kind of relaxes me.  My favourite stroke in swimming is freestyle I could say that I am probably good at it. What I learnt throughout this week is probably that if you are trying to rescue someone one important thing is you always have to keep yourself away from the water because if you dive in you could get yourself in danger. How because you don’t know what’s in the water and if its a shark you could not end up with one dead or injured but two and that would be really bad so do not dive in unless you have been trained too.

Thank you for reading my blog I hope you have a good rest of your day or week and remember to spread the gospel around. 🙂

Ponder T2 .24

Malo e Lelei

For this week’s ponder our class room 9 had to vote on what book we should read next to the class which the teacher will read to us. We  had different options of books to choose from and some of them were biographic books. For example there was a book that we could choose from called I survived and it s a book based on kids different troubles that kids have to face and how they escaped and these stories were actually real and what impact it had on their lives.  The book that is currently in the lead and we might be reading is a book called wonders and it has 7 votes in and one of the few votes was me. I picked this book because it looks very interesting and the information at the back tells the reader that it is a interesting story and it makes me want to read it that is why the reason I picked this book. If you would like to see the votes then here they are just look down below and you will see it.

Thank you for reading my blog and I hope you have a good rest of your day or week and take care and also make sure to spread the gospel. 🙂

Prefixes T2 2024

Talofa Lava Everyone

This week for our prefixes we did  something around on -bi and bi means two. For us to learn bi words we had to do something based around bi and we did work. The work was we had to match the bi word with the meaning but we had to guess about it and we made sure to do it because it was a choice of OUR opinion and what WE think it means. I think I got most of them right but that is my thought some people might have other opinions. I really enjoyed this activity because it makes us think and learn some new words that we probably did not know existed. One word that I learnt from this activity was biennial which means two years I never knew that there was another word for two years. It makes sense why it is a big word and why means two. If you would like to see my work it is down here and you can take a look and see if you can spot any word that you have never seen or heard before.

Thank you for reading my and I hope you have a good rest of your day or week and remember to spread the gospel 🙂
