25. Remove Add Create : Using AI In A Joyful Way

Kia Ora Everyone,

This week on Tuesday we were able to do something unusual. We were able to use AI but not in a bad way in a funny but cool way.

What We Did 

Well firstly Matua Aina came into our class and told us that we were going to watch a video about how people can use AI in a funny and cool way that we never imagined that we could use and do. Now he instructed us to see a DLO about how we can insert ourselves to seem like we were in the actual place but guess what we weren’t actually. This could be classified as an illusion.

The Process 

Firstly, we needed to take a picture of ourselves and make sure that it’s good to make it seem like you’re blending into the actual frame or backdrop.

Secondly, we had to go into an app which is called remove bg ( Stands for Remove Background ) then press the button that says remove background or something similar. After that download the photo of you and if you need to add some changes you are able toearse  of other stuff that is not included into your blogs if you need to restore something there is a button then the brush will restore what you need.

Next, get a Google drawing or a slide then insert a background that matches your image of you. Then make it into a background and insert the image of you, make sure that you find a perfect spot so that it seems like you’re in the actual image.

Finally, when you finish with all that you will now end up with an amazing portrait of yourself trying to seem like you were in the original piece.

Papyrus AI Writing T4 .24

Namaste Everyone,

This week for writing we have been making some changes in our writing that was called should school be a 4 day week. So firstly we had to bring up the doc but before that we needed a professional to help us because our class has never used AI before. So then Naomi came she was a AI expert. So she came in and told us to log into Papyrus AI and then when we got in we had to press a button which would take us to a conversation with Papyrus AI. Then we had to open up our writing that we had just discussed which was the should schools have a 4 day week. Then we had to type in Hi, today I am writing an argument and then it would respond. Then we would read what  AI had to say and then put our opening statement and then you would send it and then it would give you some feedback on how you can improve your writing. So I will put down some pictures of the AI and me chatting about some of the things that  needed a bit of a change. As you can see a bit the blue part I have said that  could you please simplify which would narrow it  down point by point so it could make more sense. Then the next one down is me adding the changes and then sending it to AI to see if it is good. I will add my new opening down below.

What if a day off could improve our learning and happiness??.  Firstly I believe that we should have a 4 day school week because when we have a 4 day week then we get to do our homework on time.We should have a 4 day week so students can finish homework and spend more time with the family. Also the teachers get more time to plan lessons and enjoy time with family. When we have  a 5 day school week most of the kids are learning but they have a short weekend to do the things they love. A 4 day week gives both students and teachers more time with schoolwork and family time. A 4 day week benefits both kids and teachers by giving them more time.

Suspense Writing Beginnings .24

Talofa Lava Everyone

So this week we started writing. So for this activity our teacher gave us a slide to do and it was based around poems and how they begin. And we have worked on it for two weeks now. We call it suspense writing we have been doing this topic about suspense writing for two weeks as I mentioned before. So it is about a story called broken wing and it is about a bird called a broken wing. So we had to make up our own beginning and this is where the suspense comes in and shines. Here I will put my work that I have accomplished and I will change the setting so you can see it. And under my suspense writing will be my mood writing and then I will compare each other to see which one I like more. My favourite one is the suspense because I added more description and it sounds better. I liked how I used more better words that describe what I was doing and how. I think that my mood writing could have a little bit more description because I have used some words but I think that it could use some  more writing. And that is what I think is better and why so thank you and I want to thank. And also there is going to be a picture that AI has generated for me so it will also be down there for you to see. And I thank AI for the picture thank you AI we all appreciate the picture that you generated. Thank you.
