Fractions, Decimals & Percentages

Assalamualaikum Everyone,

This week for maths we have been learning about percentage fractions and decimals. We are continuing from last week’s work because we still need to learn some more about fractions decimals and percentages. We needed to convert decimals into fractions or fractions into decimals or fractions into decimals or fractions into percentages. It was a bit hard when you first try to understand it but when you constantly keep on doing it you are able to get the hang of it and then it becomes a piece of pie. And the name of changing percentages into fractions or the other different ways we call it convert or converting. I have created a DLO for you guys to take a look at what we have done and how we did it.

Math DLO

As you are able to see those were our main focus this week it was hard but overtime it started to warm up and it felt good to know that we are able to convert these easily.

Thank you for reading my blog I hope you have a good rest of your day / week and remember to spread the gospel ✝.

Triangles T3 .24

Malo Everyone

This week for maths we have been learning how to identify and draw different triangles. The main ones that we have been learning about are Right, Isosceles, Equilateral and Scalene. Firstly we started off by learning some of the Triangles and then we started to draw them in our math books. We also had to measure the Triangles with some of the protractors. And then when that was finished we had to do something on our Chromebook to finish it off. But before we did that which I will explain later we had to do our DLO for our Triangles because whenever we do a math thing we have to DLO. So for this we had to go onto our Chromebook and then we went onto scratch and then we did some of the Triangles. My DLO will be down here for you to see. We also learnt a new word which was Congruent which meant Equal or Symmetrical.

Thank you for reading my blog I hope you have a good rest of your day and remember to spread the gospel.

Math DLO T3 .24

Assalamualaikum Everyone,

For math we had to do angles because we are learning about angles for the whole term. And this week we were learning about angles on a straight line. And we started this on Monday and we are also in the same groups the first group is the people who have no clue about angles the second one is they know but the need a refresher to refresh their minds and then we have my group which knows about angles. We were only talking about 180 degrees which is half of a full rotation. A full rotation is 360 degrees. For example we would have a straight line and then there would be a rainbow looking like a thing. And then there would be a line and then on one side of the line there will be a number and then we can either subtract it or we would add it up with a number we think will make 180 degrees. My work will be down here for you to see and this is my DLO. And on my DLO there is an example of how it works.

Thank you for reading my blog I hope you have a good rest of your day and remember to spread the gospel.

Angles Math T3 .24

Namaste Everyone

This week we are learning about angles. We learnt some of the originals for example a right angle. Firstly we had to go onto our maths page which is in our class site. Then we had to go and find the slides that were in our maths slide when we did that we had to pick which group we think we fit in. The first one was the ones that needed help and didn’t know there shapes well enough the second one was the one that knew but they needed to have a refresher like they needed to remember how to measure shapes and the third one was the one that knew and didn’t need help. I was in the 3rd group when the teacher called us she told us to name one of the angles that we use in math. If you would like to see the work that I did it will be down here for you to see it is a Google drawing It’s a math DLO. Give me some feedback if something is wrong with it.

Thank you for reading my blog I hope you have a good rest of your day and remember to spread the gospel.

Math DLO Week 5 .24

Talofa Lava Everyone,

This week for our maths we had to do compatible pairs and for this we had to plus numbers but they had four numbers to add. Firstly to find this we had to go onto the maths page to get it then we would have to pick one or the other. I picked compatible pairs which I am here to tell you about. We had to do the first question and it was not hard but it was okay and easy. But some people could have different opinions but from my understanding it is easy. Here are some examples of what we had to do and this is the first day I am doing the second day which is done here are the examples. 280+360+140+ 20= 800 here is how I solved this I solved it like this  280+20 = 300 then I 360+140= 500 and then I added 500+ 300= 800 and then that was how I got my answer. I liked this activity it helped me realise that I can add numbers that have heaps of numbers no matter what. That was all I did for maths and here is my DLO. If you want to see it, it will be down here and you can  see what some of it is in the same words. That was all I did for maths.

Thank you for reading my blog I hope you have a good rest of your day and my apologies for how my DLO looks. But remember spread the gospel.
