25. Whanau Fun Day: Bringing Smiles and Laughter Together

Marhabaan Everyone,

On Thursday this week we were able to have Whanau Fun Day and have some fun in the sun. Firstly we needed to come to school in our uniform but then before morning tea we would change into our house colors and my color was purple. For my clothing I had a purple tutu and 4 purple necklaces. In the purple  team we had Me, Treyden, Haji, Pita and Rizwan.

We began our first sport at  Ki O Rahi and the purple team was  on a roll. We had 5 points and the other team got 8 points just 3 points. They had just gotten enough points to just beat us in Ki O Rahi.

Our second sport was volleyball and our team was doing good we won almost all of our games but we had just lost to one game against the green and orange team. After all of that sport we had a lunch break and ate some food to regain our energy.

Our fourth game was soccer AKA football. For our teams we just had  a mix of whichever  team we wanted to go into and then we just started playing and then stopped  when we heard Whaea Lorraine telling us to move onto our next rotation.

For our last game we played Lape. Our team was good but not good enough because in the end the orange team won overall making them the champions of Whanau Fun Day.

Prefixes T1 Week 10

Kia Ora Everyone

For our prefixes was to match the poly words with the right meaning. For this activity we had to use our common sense to figure out what word goes with the right saying. And to be honest I didn’t actually find it too hard for me I was struggling just a tiny bit then I got the hang of it then as I went through to look  I could see a couple that I hadn’t  knew so I typed it up and found up the meaning of it.  And that was all I did it was a fun thing to past the time because we all get different answers to different questions so I think that this was fun and we had to use our brains to think I really enjoyed this.

Auckland Library Book

Talofa Everyone

Last week on week 5 we all went on this bus full of books and two of these ladies that drove the bus to different people came to our school and we were the first class from EDH to get on board. Since I came last year I didn’t have a libary card but I chose one and it goes somewhere then after they return it to you and that’s how I got mine. Things that I like about the bus is that it has multiple options to chose from and it has graphic novels and chapter books for people to chose from that’s why I like the bus.
