Guten Tag Everyone
So this week on Wednesday we did something that had a cause of using our engineering brains and ideas. So firstly we lined up outside and then my class went out and walked to the hall. When we entered we saw two of the students in our class sitting on the chairs so our teacher told us to sit in our engineering groups. So we did and the people in my group were only me and Ngapoura. We also have Puavasa in our group but she did not come because she is very sick. So we had to go in the hall and pick a space that was not near another group I had no idea of what I was going to build so then I looked around the room and took some ideas from different structures. So then we started and then we got something here is a photo of a structure that we had but first I want to tell you that we had build the structure over and over again because we needed it to be tall and sturdy. We had to make it like this because they were going to do some tests to see how tall it is and if it is sturdy enough to keep it very still but 3 stayed still and 4 fell down to bits and pieces. Can you guess which one me and my partners structure did?? It fell down how did it fall well we had these pieces of paper and that was used for the wind test when one of our classmates did it did not fall but before our teacher had tested our building and when she rolled the thing for the strength sturdy test some of the pieces almost fell out. And then she said it was fine so I was going to rebuild it but then she said we only have 5 seconds to come and sit down but my building was about to fall down so I had to do some adjustments and then when they rolled the thing again it did not survive. There is also something else that is related to this thing these are the instructions we needed to follow and here is the activity that we did when we finished experimenting.
