Long divison – Remainders .24

Assallahmualikum!

Yesterday we were doing our maths workshop about long division with remainders, it was easy to understand long division with remainders because remainders means adding with the number you can’t fit in like example. 28 ÷ 8 = 3 remainder 4 because 8 x 3 = 24 and 24 + 4 = 28, which means it 8 remainder 3 because 24 plus 4 is 28. If you get it here is three maths question you can answer in your maths book. but here is the example with three digits in Google drawing tool.

This is the example you could have a look at and understand this kind of example for you maths problems.

here are the maths question it simple and easy to answer.

1. 4) 432

2. 5)535

3. 4)824

These are the three maths question you could answer and this is the end of my blog post.

Thank you for reading my blog and I hope you have a good rest of your day and don’t forget to spread the gospel.

Idioms Week 1 T2 2024

Talofa Lava Everyone

This week I learnt more idioms and the saying and what it means to know I lot more than I used to. I learnt more idioms because my teacher assigned us some work around idioms and we had to do different idioms for every week. Then every week I learnt different idioms that’s how I know heaps of idioms but not too many.

Also this week we had an idiom that was not hard to do it was easy and it was from last term. I really like doing this activity it helps me to be funny but saying something different from what people expect me to say. If you would like to see my work this is here so just press on it and it will take you to my work.

Thank you for reading my blog and please have a good rest of your day and make sure to spread the gospel.

Maths DLO T2

Talofa Lava Everyone

This week we had to choose a workshop that we want to learn more about. I chose subtraction because I would like to learn more shortcuts cause I don’t know a lot of shortcuts in math. Firstly our teacher told us what we know about subtraction I told her what I thought subtraction was. Then we learnt what other words were from subtraction and then we wrote it in our books so we knew the other words for subtraction was. After we did an E.G (AKA Example )  we did different types of family of facts and family of facts are Addend + Addend = Sum and Sum – Addend = Addend. And then we wrote all of this to make a family of facts. This is my DLO just click and it will take you there.

Poem / Poetry

Talofa Lava Everyone

For the past week we have been doing an activity that includes poems because April is a month for poems and we have been doing something based on poems. First we had to pick a season and I picked my favourite season which was summer. I picked summer because we get school holidays and we get to have fun in summer instead of getting homework. Then we would have to make a copy of the poem and we chose Haiku this is a different type of poem that we did. To do a Haiku we need to have a five syllable sentence then a seven syllable sentence then a five syllable sentence again. Then that  is how we did a Haiku poem that was how we did a Haiku poem.

So thank you for reading my blog and have a good rest of your day.

Prefixes T1 Week 10

Kia Ora Everyone

For our prefixes was to match the poly words with the right meaning. For this activity we had to use our common sense to figure out what word goes with the right saying. And to be honest I didn’t actually find it too hard for me I was struggling just a tiny bit then I got the hang of it then as I went through to look  I could see a couple that I hadn’t  knew so I typed it up and found up the meaning of it.  And that was all I did it was a fun thing to past the time because we all get different answers to different questions so I think that this was fun and we had to use our brains to think I really enjoyed this.

Thank you for reading my blog this was fun and I hope you have a great rest of your day and have a blessed week.

Square and Square roots Maths DLO T1 Week 10

Talofa Lava Everyone

This week we were learning about square and square roots. Firstly we had to know what square and square roots are I knew what square roots were because I have already learned about it but I haven’t learnt about square . So I had to deep digger to know what square is  and how it works so I can have a deeper understanding. From what I learnt that square in math was that in math if you talk about the square that means the square must have all 4 equal sides so that it doesn’t make a rectangle. Then as we were figuring out how to solve a problem we got got the hang of it so when we ever learn about it I will understand how to do square and square roots.

Thank you for reading my blog and I hope you have a great rest of your week.

Ranagtiratanga T1 Week 9

Kia Ora Everybody

This week we were learning about the four values and with that we also made a mosaic art piece about the four values and on the side we write what that value means to us and I am talking about Rangatitratanga. Rangatitratanga is one out of the four values my favourite one is Rangatiratanga I like it because it means a lot to me and I really like the word and the meaning. Firstly we had to create the shapes with a polyline because if we used the normal line it wouldn’t look neat  but I want it to look neat. Then on the side we had to write what Rangatiratanga means so that our teacher understands what we think that Rangatiratnga means so if we don’t know  what it means she can help us understand what the meaning mean. This one I really didn’t try because I restarted mine and then I had to redo it in less then ten minutes  so that’s why it looks untidy.

Thank you for reading my blog and I hope you have a wonderful and amazing day.

T1 Week 9 Kaitiakitanga

Talofa Lava Everybody

This week we were all making mosaic art pieces and we had to do the four values and the four values are Rangatiratanga,Kaitiakitanga,Whaungatanga and Mankitanga. But on this I am posting about Kitiakitanga so first we had to make a Google drawing and then we had to make it like a mosaic but in a Google drawing. To do that we had to use polyline to create the shapes because if we use the line it wouldn’t look nice and it wouldn’t look professional and I want it to look like a professional did it. I really liked this activity and I think we should do more because of how fun it is and it’s a very pleasant experience.

Thank you for reading this and I hope you have a great rest of your day.

Ponder

Talofa Everbody

This week we all had to do a ponder and this week the ponder was would you rather starve without water or would you die without food. Most of the class chose to survive on water and like 7 students chose food. But the correct choice was to survive on water because we all have 75% of water in our body and 25% in our body also. Then after we all got the choice to swap sides and only 2 students moved and the 5 stayed and for the ponder the side I was on was water because without  water our brains could turn into a rasin. And water develops the brain to work. And that was all for our ponder.

Thank you and I hope you have a great rest of your day

Opera Week 7

Talofa Everyone

This week on Wednesday Room 9 was lucky to watch an opera and some other classes. They asked one person to go up and hand one of the characters and I took that opportunity and then when it was time I did it and I got a high five. Throughout the opera I saw that they could sing at a very high tune and I also liked it when Adrina realised that Nemorino was the one for her and I also liked it when Nemorino would get jealous. I really enjoyed the opera because it was my first ever time seeing a real Opera in real life it was a delight to have a time seeing the opera.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great Day

Kind Regards- Sala
