Favourite book Week 5

This week Room 9 was expected to pick their favourite book and we had to put it all in one slide so we can share all of our favourite books. The book that I chose was a book called Big book of fun stuff it is a book from tom gates. Tom gates is one of my favourite authors because they write many books that tickle people’s interest. We had to write about the book we chose and some of us including me did not finish their blogs.

Thank you for reading and have a good day!:)

Important moments throughout my life! Week 5

This week Room 9 had to create important moments in their lives. First in the first slide should have your title and then on the rest of the slides you do your whanau,me (you), friends, where you’re from and on the last slide should have your pepha. You have to add some pictures and some words if you want too. But on my slide there were no words on my slides except for my pepha I had a lot of pictures of me when I was young because I was an only child and I was spoiled with lots of love. I loved doing this important moments about me because I could share my life with Room 9.

Thank you for reading this I hope you have a great day.

Idioms Week 5

This week our teacher gave us work to do about idioms. Every week we get different idioms to do and learn about this week’s idioms It wasn’t hard for me to do and I learned a lot of different idioms from this week. There were a lot of idioms that I learnt and I really enjoy this and here are some of my favourite idioms. 1. Elbow grease means working hard and physical. 2. Easy as pie which means easy work because it means you’re working hard and cleverly. Last but not least is putting your shoulder to the wheel which means being good and hard working. This was a fun and active activity to do and I really enjoyed doing this.

Thank you for reading and have a good day!:)

Idioms Week4

In reading we were learning about idioms and different ways of reading an idiom. My favourite I knew was right off the bat which means doing something quickly and doing it the right way. When we were learning about idioms I learnt some new idioms that I had never heard of before. Some idioms that I learnt were Take the bull by the horns which means finding a way to deal with the argument. This activity was a fun activity to learn and discuss. In my opinion it was a bit hard figuring out which word goes with the right idiom. The aim was to get the right word into the right idiom but in the end we all discussed and found out the right word that went into the right idiom. Also in the picture there will be a yellow and blue idiom highlighted is what we have to try and use in our free writing story.

Thank you for reading my blog I hope you have a good rest of your day and remember to spread the gospel.
