Engineers Of Tomorrow

Annyeonghaseyo, everyone 👋,

On Wednesday of week 1 of term 3, we did some learning around structural engineering and how it helps people throughout their daily lives. First a team of different types of engineers introduced themselves to us. Then we got to know their names and what kind of engineers they are. It was cool to learn about what they do and how they help others.

So we had different stations that had different ways on how we can use structural engineering. There was a large bridge in front of all of us, and we all wondered what we were going to do with the bridge. The activities were trying to make the biggest paper tower out of paper, and we had a limit of how much tape we got, but we didn’t have a limit for how much paper we could use.

There was also an activity about trying to make a tower out of chopsticks. It was challenging for them because the table kept on wobbling, so they decided that they would create their towers on the floor since it’s less wobbly. There was also a bridge being built; it was like a real bridge but miniature. They didn’t have to build the bridge; they just had to connect some wires because the wires made the bridge look like a real bridge. And that was most of what we did for engineering.

Thank you for reading my blog. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day, and remember to spread the gospel ✝.
